Our Response to Covid-19
Dear Morningside Presbyterian,
Throughout the past two years, we have followed CDC guidance and navigated the pandemic wilderness with care for one another. Following the CDC's updated guidance this past week, we are prepared to relax our guidelines. Given that Fulton County is currently a low transmission community, our campus will be mask optional in all settings beginning Wednesday, March 2nd. We will continue to closely monitor data and guidelines from the CDC as well as transmission rates for the county, which can be found here. In the case that we experience future surges due to other variants, we will follow the CDC's mask recommendations in times of high transmission.
As a community of faith, we remember that the body of Christ is composed of many members, each with unique circumstances, stories, and comfort levels. Many of you will be thrilled not to wear a mask; others may wish to continue to wear a mask. The commitment we make to one another is to respect and honor each individual's decision without judgment or shame. We also continue to encourage you to love your neighbor by staying home if you are sick and isolating if you experience Covid.
If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at katie@morningsidepc.org.
Peace,
Pastor Katie
