Memorial Drive Ministries
Located in the most diverse square mile in the USA, Memorial Drive Ministries (MDM), founded in 2017, seeks to provide refugees with a safe and transformational space for vocational training, literacy and educational services to adults, children and youth, worshiping communities. This international community hosts five different worshiping groups, including Shalom Ministries. MDM provides job-training and refugee support through Amani Women’s Center and Global Growers. MDM supports education through the Solid Foundation Christian School and the Inspire After-School Initiative. MDM also supports literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL) through Refugee Family Literacy-Friends of Refugees.
How You Can Get Involved
Morningsiders can volunteer in many capacities and participate in our workdays on the MDM campus. MPC also supports this important work with grants and goods collections. There are so many things to learn about MDM—so please visit their website to get a full picture of all the work they do. To get involved through Morningside, you can also send us an email.
